A renovated river embankment has been opened in Sochi within the framework of a
development project of ROEL Projects and Finance
A ceremony took place in Sochi dedicated to the city's opening of a completely
renovated and reconstructed river embankment. The ROEL Projects and Finance company
organized this work for the resort city following the plans of one of its development
projects.
Many years ago the embankment was damaged by a flood, and now it once more has become a
recreational area for both residents and visitors to Sochi. The parapet and the decorative
architectural shapes have been completely rebuilt, and a surrounding area of around 3
hectares has been landscaped with new trees planted. The builders have put in place new
public utility network systems, installed lights matching the dominant architectural
style, and also covered the walkways with pavestone.
Representatives from both the regional administration and Sochi City Administration were
present at the opening ceremony.
